Sam Appel
I come to coaching from the hospitality world where I focused on supporting those who nourish and tend to us through food & beverage experiences - helping them not just survive, but thrive. After a decade+ in the industry, I realized I could use my talents and have more impact as an executive coach. I knew first-hand the influence a coach can have on one’s transformation.
Now, I see my role as my client’s partner in making progress towards significant and lasting change in their lives -- and I believe that in order to get to that kind of impact, you have to be open to explore, question, and play. To step back and look at any facet of who you are from a new vantage point.
I love this work because this kind of curiosity adds a lightness to life’s heaviest challenges and opens anyone up for experimentation and confidence building.
I have my BS from Cornell University, received my executive coaching training from Columbia University and am an Associate Certified Coach by ICF.
